"My 2007 VW Passat has electric parking brake fault. The dealer charged me 200 for diagnose and start with replacing a 400 dollar module (labor not included) and they refused to grantee it can be fixed.
I drove to Joe's auto because there is a guy called Martin, a VW specialist. The guy referred me there has been doing maintenance there for 2 years.
The ordered the parts and replace it within 2 hours. Total 550 including free brake fluid and other courtesy check and an oil change coupon. Now I have brand new models and there won't be any problem anymore.

"I've been taking my '99 Beetle to Joe's for over 2 years now and the service experience just gets better. Joseph is such a real, nice person. I now find it easy (as a young woman without much car knowledge) to ask questions without feeling dumb and that means I bring the Bug in as often as it needs b/c I don't dread potential condescension or rip-offs. 3 examples of Joe's great service:
1-He did extensive work over Xmas 2009 while we were out of town and he let me leave the car at his shop for 2 weeks before picking it up. I brought him doughnuts for that.
2-I had a brake light out and while dropping off a friend to pick up his vehicle from the shop and Joe fixed it on the spot.
3-I had some dash lights coming on and needed to get an inspection today. Joe scanned and fixed the (minor) issues on the spot at no charge. And he got me my inspection without a hitch!

"Nothing but great things to say about these guys. My muffler was loud and I thought it was going to cost me around $700 to replace. I brought it to Joe's and the total cost of the repair was $104. I didn't have to replace my entire muffler system, it was just one small piece to it. Which just goes to show that they are honest people. "I took my car to Joe after I had spent over $600 and two months and three mechanics trying to diagnose the problem with my car. The car was stalling out and the engine light would come on and then it would be all better the next day. This made the problem really difficult to diagnose because nobody was able to recreate the stalling.
I finally took it to Joe and he was able to look at it and examine it fully before diagnosing the problem. It took several days to diagnose the problem due to the difficulties in recreeating the problem, but Joe would always take my phone calls and always took the time to explain what he was doing to fix it. He also took the time to diagnose the problem properly and only charged my for the time that it actually took to fix the problem.
The problem was finally diagnosed as a faulty distributor and was replaced. I had to go back and have it replaced because the distributor was replaced with a refurb - as per my instructions, but when Joe replaced it with a new one, he only charged the difference in cost plus an hour labor. I can't say enough about Joe. I thought the car was done for, but I've been driving it ever since - 7 months now and it's still chugging! I highly recommend this shop.
